so firstly I drilled out the pop rivets that hold the outer cover on
then with the outer cover removed I then use a dremel to cut the end spout off the inner baffle pipe
now that I have removed this you can see another restricting baffle that goes from the end spout to in inner baffle pipe
again the drill and dremel comes to the rescue to remove this.
so now this is all the parts you are left with now that the can has been fully gutted
the baffle inner pipe(which weighs a ton) can now be thrown in the bin...look at all that restriction
and this is what the can looks like with all that rubbish taken out(note the smaller inner pipe where the cat used to be)
for lagging I seen this stuff that apparently a lot of the bike makers use now seeing its so good.

a small net holds it all in place then the heat of the exhaust melts the net allowing it to expand and fill every inch of the can with a real nice tight fit.
so now I use 2.5" perforated tube for the internal of the exhaust, the end cap is 2.5" oval so I oval the end of the tube using a vice and this makes it a perfect fit.with the cat removed the house for the cat is a nice tight fit for the perforated tube to slide into. a couple of spot welds in the end cap and the perforated tube isnt moving anywhere. this is how it looks
now its just a case of wrapping the tube in the new lagging which I got next day delivery
then pop rivet it all back together. so now when you look in the end pipe you see this
sorted, now you have some phantom brand cans
oh and here is a video of the new cans in action.......(bike was pre warmed up before I took this)

cheers, go down to mc callen an tell him to fire mine up to let you hear it......bring ear plugs lmao
can make yours really loud without removing the cat, baffle or cans from the bike.. all you need is a dremel and drill.
these are with the can already took apart but for this imagine they are still together.
step one, drill loads of holes around the inner spout like so
the bike will now have that super loud duke noise but still has the cats and main baffle fitted. cost of this mode........free if you already have a drill and dremel
