ducati 848 suspension settings

these settings work a treat with the standard kit.
this is for a rider with a weight around 13stone

totally transforms the bike, makes it not as hard on the old wrists too lol

front
rebound damping - 10 turns off from fully tight
preload - 4 lines showing (5th line level with top)
compression damping - 1.5 from fully soft

rear
rebound damping - use stock settings (2 turns)
compression damping - 5 turns (all the way out)
preload - 2 threads showing above top lo

The rear spring on these is much too hard, if it is changed, then you will be able to use some compression damping & the shock will have better control. I have done this with a few 848's & it makes a great difference.

how much is a spring change as this was my next mod....im on the last thread to
get 25mm sag
