Thanks to Trigger & Phanthom for the invite to join this new venture, may it grow & flourish for many years to come.

My name is Bob & i live in Nottingham & work as a civil servant, i ride an 05 plate R1, which apart from my good lady is the love of my life.... Very Happy

I dont live in Northern Ireland, but i was born in Belfast & my farther & all his family were born & breed there, so i suppose i could be considered an "honoury NI biker"...lol

Heres a couple of pics of my ride.

When i collected her

no m8, but if i want to all i have to do is turn the knuckle around on the gear shaft, (which is how the rearset's were set up when i got them off ebay)

oh right, see I had the same style of rearsets and was running reverse
shift.took a bit of getting used to conventional shift when I got the duke.
did lock the rear once kicking down a gear lol

i had same problem when i fitted them & thought i had been sold race rear sets, then i looked at the small knuckle/ball joint on end of selector rod & saw i could turn it the other way round, when i did that i got normal road shift back. Which was a big relief....lol
